1968 OWENS MODEL 60 & Trailer

[removed phone] ft. Owens sport fish with a Tuner tower which has a remote upper steering station. She is powered by 2 Cummings 6BT TURBO, 300 HP, diesels and cruises, 25 knots, @ 2300 RPM. This boat was custom converted from a model 60 to an express with the soft top and refit to the diesel motors in 1991. 1 motor has been recently overhauled with 5 hours and the other motor has 1100 hours (which equates to 45K miles). Fresh water cooled, all coolers were removed, cleaned and rodded out. One motor has a week shut off solenoid which may need cleaned or replaced. I have noticed an intermittent grumble from one of the transmissions but it comes and goes so we have not been able to isolate it so it may be anything major. Gel coat good and it has a custom rear swim deck with boarding ladder. The boat was just pulled; new bottom, paint, new props, packings, all filters and oils changed at a cost of over $2100. The boat has shore power A/C which works, a DC/AC power inverter, anchor windlass and a fighting chair with a live well underneath it. Canvas is what you see (front & sides), 2 VHF radios and a cd player (NO ELECTRONICS). The cabin has a set of bunk beds, microwave, sink and head. The boat has sat for the past 3 years and we were in the middle of a restoration. It is a project boat, it needs work but all the real heavy spending has been done!! The motors are turn key but it?s still a project to be finished. I would say all systems need checked but it can be run. We began the project but ran out of funds. Things still need done, hydraulic steering needs bleed, it seems to lose it pressure when it sits for a while so it will need bleed/fixed prior to moving. It may need seals. It can't be anything major as we have had it up and been able to water test the boat. The new switch panel needs wired up. All new gauges but tachs will need calibrated. It?s a super off shore fishing boat for the true fishing enthusiast. Boat slip is paid for the month, after that it is the responsibility of the buyer. Many more pictures on request.
