Man 2840LE[removed phone] cylinder engines1000 HOURSERVICEINCLUDES:Turbo rebuilds full set of injectors upgraded to Monarch tips Torque heads bore scope each cylinder. All fluids and filters changed. Fluids tested. Impellers and belts changed. All hoses replaced in engine room replaced and double clamped. All thru valves replaced 1 size up. Main raw water strainers converted to Integral crash pump valves. Bonding wiring checked. All bilge umps and float switches replaced. Electric fuel priming system added. All electrical driven pumps rebuilt with spares. Spare filters belts impellers. MAJORRUNNINGGEAR: Removed both struts and converted from European nose cone style to standard American straight bore struts. Cone machined off and line bored to Standard SAE diameter Standard Duramax cutlasses now fit. This now allows bearing to be swapped without pulling shafts as required previously. Major savings in cost.Both shafts straightened crack checked threads chased props lapped onto shaft. and coupling lapped onto shaft. Shafts were targeted and line sighted with full dial indication in 4 locations/shaft all read less than super tight tolerance of .0005 run-out. Couplings feeler gauged after engine alignment also all readings from .0015 to incredible .0005. That's is half a 10000th!!!!! Propellers full reconditioned pitch checked cupped balanced and lapped onto shaft with SpeedProp coating All below waterline metal stripped and "SpeedProp" coated in lieu of paint. HULLIMPROVEMENTS: Entire hull from waterline to keel; prow to stern soda blasted to bare fiberglass. ZERO blistering or water intrusion found. ALL thru hulls removed upgraded and re-bedded with 3M #5200 Adhesive. Entire hull re-fared true and straight. 2 part Epoxy sealed and course sanded. Additional fairing as needed to maintain true dimensions. Epoxy based primer applied then course sanded.GENERATOR:Generator 2500 hour service with injectors all belts and impellers and fluid changes with analysis. Other items attended to: Dual hot swap Sea-par 1000 manifolded fuel filters for generator installed with blue HP fuel lines and aeroquip fittings Upgrade ALL (excluding mains eng) sea strainers to bronze Groco ARG spin top style Increased AC seawater intake to 2" Dia & Over-sized sea strainer with finger spin top Routed all chiller and AC cooling water into a side viewable 2" thru hull to aid in monitoring flow rates ALL hoses in entire engine room replaced and double clamped ALL screw clamps throughout vessel replaced with 318 SS clamps ALL Thru hull valves replaced and increased at least 1 size up Main raw-water intakes for engines converted to integral crash pump valve ball valves ALL engine room bonding checked ALL new bilge pumps and float switchesOTHERNOTABLEIMPROVEMENTS: Fuel priming system push button system primer for each engine Large bore fuel tank cross over and fuel polishing access point ALL electrical driven pumps rebuilt this year with spares complete set of all filters belts impellers etc for long duration self sustaining voyages ALL AC systems annual serviced Watermaker annually services weekly back fresh water flushing still exceeds maker's specified amount GPD INLAST3 YEARS: Entire new battery banks to AMG sealed "Odyssey" Batteries 2 New upgraded battery charging systems Annual electronics upgrades Weather XM XM radio New speakers New Furuno NavNet system with Radar charting and WX overlays
