Vessel Walkthrough
The port or starboard wing doors enter the huge full beam aft deck air conditioned main salon which has sliding screened windows a sliding glass door to the aft deck and an opening door which leads to theflybridge which has a NEW ENCLOSURE and is AIRCONDITIONED. Down 4 steps from the main salon leads youto the galley and dining area which is surrounded bywindows and is another very accommodating social area.Forward of the galley level down 3 steps leads to thelower level foyer which contains additional storage aseparate access door to the engine room an access doorto the guest stateroom and an access door to the guesthead. The forward guest stateroom has a centerlinedouble bed and an additional access door to the head."D'Princess" has a huge amount of storage a very largeengine room and multiple social areas with excellentambient lighting.
Galley
The Gulfstar 44 has the largest galley of any 44 footeryou will find. Across from the galley is a solid teakdining table which can accommodate 6 guests for formaldining.
Master Stateroom
The master stateroom is huge richly finished in teakand contains a 7 foot cedar lined hanging closet aswell as numerous drawers and storage. To starboard is a seating area which has been converted to a portableoffice. The master stateroom head contains a Vacuflushtoilet system and large stall shower with an overheaddeck hatch.
VIP Stateroom Forward
The very private forward guest stateroom contains acenterline queen berth private access to the guesthead which contains a dedicated shower area and anadditional access door from the lower level foyer area.
Deck Equipment
The deck area allows for safe side deck access to themain salon wing doors a large foredeck with sun padand Marquipt folding boarding stairs.
Electrical
The electrical system is energized by shore power with an electric retrieval cord system the 8KW Onangenerator which has less than 350 hours of pampereduse or the 12 volt battery banks. All electrical needsare channeled through a commercial grade breaker paneleasily located in the aft galley bulkhead.
Engine Room
The engine room is large clean and easily accessedthrough a sound insulated walk-through positive latchdoor. All systems are easily serviced and additional storage is abundant. The very low hour Caterpillarengines run to spec's and the generator which isenclosed in a sound shield is very quiet.
Flybridge
The flybridge is air conditioned and the full enclosurewas new in 2009. The helm chair aft bench seating andextended "eyebrow" enclosure offer comfortable protection from the elements.
Other Features
The Gulfstar Widebody replaced the original 44motoryacht in 1986 and enjoyed a production run untilGulfstar was sold in 1988. Only 25 hulls of this refineddesign were produced and are the most sought aftermodel Gulfstar produced due to her expanded main salonand other refinements to include the radar arch and redesigned flybridge. It is difficult to find such a lowhour model with the 375 HP Caterpillars so make it apoint to inspect "D'Princess" before choosing a lesser quality Asian built liveaboard cruiser.
